This is a Messy Middle Story about losing everything and starting over.
Faster, sharper, better.
The crash wasn't the failure. It was the reset.
My application crashed after hours of work, thinking my effort was lost. All the time I spent on it...would I have to do it all over again? Simply put, yes - however, this time around I felt like a race car driver. The exhaust was fuming and I was already a few laps behind. I learned how to elevate my process, precisely expedite the lost information, (spam the save button) and add details that had been missed on the first pass. What I thought was the final draft on the first round, turned out to be the rough draft. Ultimately struggle turned into a more refined success.

This is what the messy middle actually looks like. Not the first version. The second one. The one where you're behind, frustrated, and somehow end up with something better than what you started with.
The rough draft isn't failure. It's just the first lap.
